Join the Rhode Island Alumni Chapter for a fun-filled evening for you and your family at McCoy Stadium, one of Rhode Island’s historical landmarks. You will watch one of our favorite minor league teams, the Pawtucket Red Sox; reconnect with other alumni; and hear from Patrick Drane ’00, ’03 on the exciting work being done at the UMass Lowell Baseball Research Center. Meet us at home plate on Saturday, August 30 and enjoy the game!

About the UMass Lowell Baseball Research Center: This center’s studies include dynamic baseball bat performance and durability using high-speed air cannons, modal techniques, finite element modeling and a wide variety of other tools. It has served as an independent research center since 1999 and performs research and other services for many sporting goods manufacturers and baseball leagues including Major League Baseball, the NCAA, USA Baseball, Little League Baseball and the National Federation of State High School Associations.
