“Negotiating Your Future” Seminar

In an effort to help our alumni advance their careers, we are offering this special negotiations seminar held in the beautiful,
exclusive and scenic UMass Club.

Keynote Speaker:
Elaine Varelas, Managing Partner, Keystone Partners

Elaine Varelas will prepare attendees to conduct real-world negotiations for job offers, bonuses, titles, benefits, time off and more. Varelas will help attendees identify what is important to them, develop language for negotiations and develop confidence in their negotiation skills. She will review the stages of the negotiation process as well as a checklist of areas to consider for negotiations. She will also guide attendees through negotiation role play exercises and address issues like how to respond effectively to an offer that doesn’t meet expectations.

Cost: $15 includes the reception, cash bar and tax-deductible donation.
